Helping You Thrive
International Student Services Office (ISSO)
At JWU you won’t get lost in the crowd when you arrive on campus — you will feel right at home. Our International Student Services Office (ISSO) team will serve as a resource for matters related to your immigration status and adjusting to your new life here in the United States. In addition, we will help you understand how to go about obtaining proper employment authorization as permitted by your student visa and provide assistance on completing your Internal Revenue Service income tax returns.
ISSO will also do everything possible to help you navigate your way on campus and get involved with student clubs and organizations — the perfect way to make new friends and develop professional and social skills.
Arrival Services
As soon as you have arrived on campus in your Uber, Lyft or taxi from the local airport, we will be there to help you transition into campus life at JWU.
Housing
During your first year at JWU, you will live in a residence hall, where our diligent Safety & Security staff maintain a secure living and learning environment. Graduate students who wish to live on campus can do so in apartment-style housing.
If you need helping finding accommodations outside of JWU residence halls, we can help you search for housing options in the areas surrounding either campus.
International Student Scholarship
Accepted international graduate students may be eligible for up to $18,500 per year in merit scholarships.
